We offer an educational work environment with a wide range of tasks where you can immediately apply your knowledge in practice.

What do we offer you?

At Baltussen Preiplanten, you will have the opportunity to contribute to all aspects of our cultivation process—from growing leek plants to assisting with both mechanical and manual tasks. You will gain broad experience and be able to turn the theory from your studies into practical skills.

Potential tasks include:

• Assisting in the cultivation process of leek plants in open fields and greenhouses.
• Conducting research on cultivation optimization and crop protection.
• Participating in harvesting and packaging processes.
• Collecting and analyzing cultivation data.
• Maintenance and inspection of machinery and equipment.
• General logistical and administrative tasks.
• We value a mutual learning experience during internships, where we help each other progress. Note that full-time research-based internships are not possible with us.

Who are you?

• You are a student at HAS or MAS with a focus on the agricultural sector.
• You are eager to learn and have an interest in cultivation processes, crop management, or other operations within an agricultural business.
• You enjoy working both indoors and outdoors and are not afraid of physical tasks.
• You are a team player with a flexible attitude.

What do we offer you?

• An educational internship with room for your own input.
• Support and guidance from experienced staff during your internship.
• A friendly and informal working atmosphere in a family business.
• Internship compensation (to be discussed).
• An internship during the period from February to July. Unfortunately, internships outside this period are not possible with us.
